Simple answers about ScamSure.
What can I send ScamSure?
Suspicious texts, email screenshots, general screenshots, and website links. The actual check happens in the ScamSure text-message experience.
Does the website itself check scams?
No. The website explains the product and helps build trust. Actual scam checks are intended to happen only through text message with ScamSure.
Is ScamSure always right?
No. ScamSure provides a risk assessment based on the information available and cannot guarantee that something is safe or fraudulent.
What does Scam Risk mean?
It is ScamSure’s risk assessment based on the warning signs and available evidence. It is not a guaranteed or mathematically certain probability.
What if ScamSure needs another screenshot?
If ScamSure requests more information to complete the same investigation, it does not use another check.
Do I need to download an app?
No. ScamSure is designed around text messaging, so a separate app is not required for the initial experience.
Do I need a credit card for the free checks?
No. Your first three completed checks are free with no credit card required.
What happens after three free checks?
You can choose to subscribe for $20 per year. ScamSure sends a secure payment link by text, associated with your texting number. If you don't subscribe, additional checks are paused.
Does the $20 plan automatically renew?
Yes. ScamSure Annual renews every 12 months at $20 unless canceled before the next renewal.
How do I cancel?
Email support@scamsure.net to cancel. Canceling stops future renewals, and you can continue using your paid plan until the end of the current billing period. Replying STOP opts you out of text messages; it does not cancel billing.
Are the paid checks unlimited?
The annual plan includes unlimited scam checks for ordinary individual use while your subscription is active. Automated, shared, or bulk submissions aren't included. See our Terms of Service.
Should I send a password or bank login?
No. ScamSure never needs your passwords, Social Security number, PIN, full payment-card details, bank login credentials, or verification codes.
