About ScamSure
ScamSure provides informational scam-risk assessments based on information submitted by users and other signals available to the service. ScamSure is not a bank, law-enforcement agency, financial adviser, attorney, insurer, or guarantee of safety.
No guarantee
Results may be incomplete or incorrect. A Low Risk result does not guarantee that a message, person, seller, website, or transaction is safe. A High Risk result is a risk assessment, not a legal determination that fraud occurred.
Free checks
New users may receive three completed investigations free. If ScamSure asks for additional information to complete the same investigation, that requested follow-up is intended not to count as a separate check.
Annual subscription
After the three free completed checks, customers may purchase ScamSure Annual for $20 per year. It is a recurring subscription that automatically renews every 12 months at $20 until canceled. The price of any future renewal will be disclosed as required before it changes. Any applicable taxes will be shown at checkout. The paid plan includes unlimited completed scam checks for ordinary individual use while the subscription is active. Automated, resold, account-shared, or bulk use is prohibited.
Billing, renewal and cancellation
Use the secure payment link sent through ScamSure to associate your purchase with your texting number. To cancel renewal, email support@scamsure.net. Cancellation stops future charges and service continues through the end of the current paid term unless required otherwise by law. Please request cancellation before your renewal date. SMS opt-out using STOP is separate from subscription cancellation. For billing errors or refund questions, contact support; requests will be handled under applicable law and the payment processor’s terms.
Existing purchases
If you previously bought another ScamSure offer, the terms of that purchase are not automatically replaced by these new annual-plan terms. Contact support about your account.
Acceptable use
Do not use ScamSure for unlawful activity, automated bulk analysis, harassment, attempts to abuse the service, or analysis of content you are not authorized to submit.
Sensitive data
Do not send passwords, Social Security numbers, PINs, full payment-card details, bank login credentials, or one-time verification codes.
SMS
Use of ScamSure messaging is also subject to the SMS Terms.
